With various photographers from different countries and continents we have closed contracts up to the end of the year 2004. Thus we have added new images to the topics Asia, Caribbean and Europe with the beginning of 2005.
With that our image data bank extended onto several thousands of pictures.
We will be keen to show also in the future a selection of these pictures as a preview in our gallery at photomedia.

Since June new photographs in the central format from Holland and Amsterdam were integrated into shop and archives.

The archive is open to all photographers now worldwide. Pre-condition is a shapeless application at photomedia. The admission and presentation of digital image files of the photographers in the archive in English and in German language is for the photographers clear of all charges.photomedia is in the situation to place the picture authors and his photographs in own galleries on front ranking places.

A selection of these photographs is to purchase in the shop from now on. For data files in the central format effective immediately available the prints with a side length up to 100 cm.

On our journeys to the islands in the North or the Mediterranean we went by big or small ferries. While we were waiting on the ferry stops or in ports but also on entering or leaving the ports and on the journeys we took a lot of pictures. We have arranged some of them in a little special. The offer of our black-and-white motives has amazingly been extended with the introduction of the A3+ format. PhotoMediaShop offers 120 black-and-white photos in the sizes A4, A3+ and in the usual poster size.

First anniversary of photomediaservice.de and photomediaservice. com. Since the 15.01.2002 our homepage has been online under both domains. Since that very moment we have counted 269470 visitors.

Landscape and architecture
Completely new pictures of the island of Sardinia have been included, as well. Here you can find pictures from the north to the west of the island up to the capital Cagliari. The galleries subjected to Italy have been considerably extended. New galleries (among them Syracuse, Etna, Favignana and Trapani) have been added to Sicily. Northern Italy has been newly arranged and galleries of Tuscany and Liguria have been added. New additions have been made related to the area Lake Garda around the south-western parts (around Peschiera).

New project 2002
In the first half of this year we are going to publish a project of landscape photography: "The changing of the seasons". From a fixed camera angle (3 grade north) photographs of a landscape in North Germany were taken at different times of the day and seasons. These photographs are characterized by the changing contrast between the sky and a field landscape which are separated by a hilly landscape on the horizon. The project has been running for 2 years and is about to finish now. All pictures will be arranged in a mosaic. The expression of the pictures is intensified by their interaction.

Some remarks about macrophotography
The shown photographs put emphasis on an attractive portrayal of the respective plants, especially when they are in blossom. Scientific purposes are not pursued. We have the intention to present the cacti with their scientific names in the near future. The next update and publication of further photographs is planned for the end of 2002.

Planned projects
Representing the subject fields of landscape and architecture galleries of Thailand and Egypt should be finished and published by the end of 2001. The publication of the Cuba gallery is planned for 2002 as well as the publication of new galleries for the subjects of fashion and bodyart.
